Our View of Worship

At our church, worship is a place where the fullness of God meets the fullness of who we are. We believe worship should reflect the wideness of God’s welcome—where every person, every body, every voice can show up whole and be received with joy. Because all people are created in the image of God, we affirm that the gifts, identities, and relationships of LGBTQIA+ people are not obstacles to worship, but expressions of God’s creativity that enrich our praise.

Our worship honors the historic rhythms of the church while making space for the stories and songs of today. We gather at God’s table without conditions or caveats, trusting that the Holy Spirit calls each of us by name. In prayer and proclamation, silence and song, we listen for the God who delights in diversity, speaks through many voices, and calls us to embody justice, hope, and compassion in the world.

We worship with open doors, open hearts, and open hands—expecting God to meet us as we are, and to transform us in love.
